Expression of Interest for former Australian Defence Force members and Emergency Services Veterans (Police, Fire, Ambulance and all frontline workers) to transition into Security and/or Concierge duties. Personal Medical Decisions Respected!

‍ Background:

‍Do you have a Defence or Emergency Services background and are you looking to transition into a different career in the near future?

Are you interested in a fulfilling role where you interact with members of the community?

We are currently building the infrastructure of a small business that specialises in employing licenced Security Guards to care for a newly constructed facility in Sydney while also taking into consideration those (whom due to their medical circumstance) are unable to renew or obtain Security Licences but have the passion and drive to be Front-Desk Concierges and other customer service roles. Perhaps you already have history in caring for members of the public during your time as a police officer, nurse, fire-fighter or many aspects of military service. Perhaps a change of career will do you good.

Borgen S.Y.A is currently seeking expressions of interest from veterans and emergency services personnel who are interested in joining our close-knit team fulfil a role in our Security and Concierge Firm.

‍ ‍Pending the finalization of construction and contract agreements, we will deliver services across a range of operating streams from commercial & industrial sites, strata & body corporate & residential sites around Sydney.

Training:

As part of our training program, you will be fully trained for the role you have selected including company specific role onboarding and training.

This training will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful in the services industry and in delivery for our firm.

Suitability and Requirements:

‍ ‍Your background in the military, police, or emergency services makes you an ideal candidate for these roles. You have the discipline, communication skills, leadership ability, and above all, humility and integrity.

‍ ‍All candidates must be at least 18 years old and an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident with no prior violent or financial criminal history.

‍Our training program is designed to support your transition from military, police, fire or ambulance/Medical service into Security and Concierge roles. We understand that transitioning to a new career can be challenging, and we are committed to providing you with the support you need to succeed. Our program includes mentoring and coaching, formal training, as well as on-the-job training to ensure you feel confident and capable in your new role.

‍Rosters:

We understand that many of you are looking for regular shifts that not only pay a fair and reasonable wage, but also provides balance between your career and family life.

‍ ‍The facility runs 24/7 so there will be sufficient work to go around.

‍ ‍Each shift will last for a maximum of eight hours both day and night.

End of year gratitude bonuses for your hard work will also be implemented within our budget.

What is on offer is based on your leadership level previous level of experience, and type of role preference. Our focus will be on hiring compassionate and trustworthy Security Guards along with Concierges.
